Today, the Kosova Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims (KRCT) has published the report RIGHT TO TRUTH – “UNNAMED VICTIMS.”
The report RIGHT TO TRUTH – “UNNAMED VICTIMS” is published as a result of documenting cases of sexual violence happened during the war in Kosovo. In the framework of the project: “Enhance Transitional Justice Efforts in Kosovo through Documentation of Wartime Sexual Violence”, KRCT has commenced a comprehensive documentation of cases of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, in cooperation with partner organizations: Center for the Promotion of Women Rights (CPWR), Medica Kosova and Medica Gjakova.
During 2020, KRCT and partner organizations have documented 345 cases of survivors of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, these data are processed through the documentation process, which in statistical form will be accessible through the public platform and are reflected in the report RIGHT TO TRUTH – “UNNAMED VICTIMS.”
