The Rehabilitation program of KRCT is a cornerstone of its mission, designed to provide comprehensive, survivor-centered support to individuals affected by torture and wartime sexual violence. This program focuses on healing the physical, psychological, and social wounds of survivors while fostering their reintegration into society.

OBJECTIVES

Psychosocial Healing: Addressing the mental health and emotional needs of survivors through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Physical Rehabilitation: Providing medical care and support for physical injuries and trauma.

Social Reintegration: Empowering survivors to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into their communities.

Family and Community Support: Extending support to families and communities to address intergenerational trauma and stigma.

CORE ACTIVITIES

Psychosocial Support

  • Individual Therapy: Offering trauma-informed counseling to help survivors process their experiences and manage symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
  • Group Therapy: Facilitating support groups where survivors can share experiences, build resilience, and find solidarity with others who have faced similar challenges.
